Maintenance
First 24 Hours
- Do not use the refinished surface for at least 24 hours.
- Do not get the surface wet.
- Nothing should be placed on or near the surface.
- If at all possible, doors should be shut to avoid dust and accidental contact.
First Week
- Do not place bottles, shampoo or any other object on the reglazed surface
- Make sure taps are closed, and there are no ongoing leaks
- Wipe down & dry the surface, and do not leave it wet
- Clean only with a soft sponge and water
Notes on Dust
Since your house is not a 100% dust-free environment, it is possible dust, fluff, lint, or bugs might get stuck on the freshly refinished surface. Do not try to remove these items from the surface, they will usually disappear within 2 weeks on their own, as the surface is used and cleaned.
Longterm Maintenance
Properly caring for your refinished tub is critical to extending its life, and necessary for your one year guarantee on workmanship.
